"When Animal Outings look after our two Labradors, Sapphie and Quinn, we never have to worry.  Both our dogs adore and respect Carroll.  It is great to have them walked when we go to work, but what we have recently experienced is the boarding that Carroll offers in her home.

We had always put the dogs in kennels until Carroll offered to look after them for us when we were off on a long holiday.  Sapphie and Quinn lived with Carroll for three weeks initially.  We were stranded (due to volcanic activity) in Canada for an extra week and Carroll stepped in and kept them safe for us for another week – after four weeks with Carroll they have returned to us relaxed, happy, fit and obedient.  Carroll texted us or emailed us (or both!) every day to keep us in touch and sent photos of the dogs having great walks and socialising with other dogs in her care.

We trust Carroll 100% with Sapphie and Quinn and know that when they are with her they get lots of attention, entertainment and discipline.  Carroll took Sapphie to the vet when she was limping and went out of her way to ensure that she got plenty of swimming exercise instead of long walks in order to take the pressure off her injury.

"I was afraid we would be asking too much when we asked Carroll to look after our collection of snakes, lizards and tortoises whilst we were away. Keeping reptiles is a complicated business, especially if, like ours, all have differing needs - temperature, diet, environment and climate wise - as well as some people finding them creepy, or even, the thing of nightmares; never mind the locust handling involved with some of them.

Carroll not only capably mastered the complicated instructions we left, but also went clearly "above and beyond the call of duty" noticing, not only when one of the thermostats failed, but even when one began to run slightly too hot. She travelled miles to the specialist for advice plus replacement parts and, on both occasions, her prompt actions directly saved the lives of the respective expensive and much loved creatures.

"We have two dogs who can be a bit of a handful, Kipper who is a rescue and a little nervous and barky and Bilbo only a year old, our bonkers Patterdale who has to be on a flexi lead all the time because he cannot resist the wiff of a rabbit and loses all sense of time and space when he's on the trail.

I saw an advert for Animal Outings in the local paper and snipped it out as I was about to start a full time job. Carroll came round to meet me and the dogs and to run through her services. She immediately came across as professional and friendly and the dogs thought she was great, all wags and licks. I have now been using Carroll's services for 6 months and I could not do without her. She is totally reliable, kind and caring to the dogs. All this eases my guilt at leaving them on their own in the house and ensures they get a good hour's exercise a day.

I love the little written reports she leaves every day, on what they have been up to on their outing,
